Biography / Artist or Gallery Statement

Living in Scotland a member of The United Kingdom Colour Pencil Society. I love using colour pencil for my work. It gives me a confidence to tackle any subject I choose. I especially like to use colour pencil for animal paintings. This year I organised and started up a new art group in my local area, through this I have rediscovered my love of watercolour and I have enjoyed using this medium again for some of my recent work. I will combine mediums if the painting requires it and often work with colour pencil on a watercolour base.

Exhibition Details

I have exhibited with the UKCPS. In 2006 I was given the Chairmans Award for my picture Resting Place that was exhibited at the Keswick World of Colour Pencil exhibiton. See www.UKCPS.co.uk to view online exhibitons.

I will take commisions for pet portraits, people portraits, houses or landscapes. I can work from a good quality photograph.
